I have had BF Goodrich, Nitto, Dunlop, Falken and others...but Maxxis are the absolute best so far. The tire is very predictable even when driven quite aggressively. The tires are "okay" in the wet, but the MR2 has extreme snap oversteer that makes wet driving dangerous if you get at all aggressive. So, the "average" Maxxis rating for wet traction is not necessarily a tire issue, but a MR2 suspension issue. These tires are an excellent choice.
