Wheel Maintenance Tips

Here are several tips on taking care of the wheels that define your car or truck:

• Always dry your wheels off after going through a car wash, as the chemicals used in car washes can leave spots that are difficult to get rid off
• Always wash road salt off of your wheels as soon as possible, because salt can eat into the finish of a wheel and leave pits and stains that cannot be fixed
• Always read the warnings on cleaners BEFORE you using on your wheels or tires, since some tire cleaners permanently discolor wheels and some wheel cleaners contain acids that will eat the finish off of certain types of wheels
